I was at a funeral three weeks ago
The preacher, I knew him, I had all of his records
He went through the rows and spoke to us forcefully, forcefully
He held a book in his right hand and quoted from it loudly
In the book were handwritten notes of the deceased
Then the preacher came to the line the deceased considered the most moving part
The preacher stopped in front of me and my wife, with the book, and he pointed at this certain page, so we could read the words clearly, all the small handwritten letters, committed to paper with ink and with a pencil and a ballpen

The preacher held the book, and my wife began to read

The preacher’s eyes welled up with tears
The Australian’s eyes welled up with tears
My eyes welled up with tears
Everybody’s eyes welled up with tears
